Across The Board (ATB) Magazine

The first edition of the “Across The Board” magazine was published by ASLIA(Victoria) in 2006. From August 2009, ASLIA(Victoria) agreed for ASLIA(National) to take on responsibility for the magazine so that it could be made available to all ASLIA members. At the 2009 ASLIA National Conference in Melbourne, the inaugural ASLIA National Across the Board magazine was published representing a milestone for the Association.

“Across The Board”, is a 40-page publication, produced quarterly. The ATB keeps members informed about the world of sign language interpreting, discusses issues effecting sign language interpreters and provides a glimpse into the lives of practitioners in Australia and abroad. As a national publication, the future for the ATB is full of exciting possibilities.

As part of the ASLIA national membership restructure, from 1 July 2010, the magazine will become available to all ASLIA members across the country free of charge. If you are not an ASLIA member and would like to receive ATB, you can subscribe by completing the subscription form (note: current ASLIA(Victoria) members do not need to subscribe).
