Downloading your Tax Invoices

E-mail Print PDF

To allow you to claim your membership fees as a expense on your tax return, the online database automatically creates a tax invoice for each year that you renew; however, you need to have completed the online renewal form in order for one to be generated.  For instructions on how to complete the online renewal form, click here if your membership is expired and click here if you are renewing a current membership.

To be able to access your online tax invoices you need to log-in.  If you have forgotten how, click here.

Or you remember how, but have forgotten either your user name or password.  Click here If you cannot remember your user name, please DO NOT simply create a new user name.

After you have logged-in to the ASLIA website you will see this:

not_expired2

Click on “View my Details”

You will next see this on your screen:

not_expired3

Select the second tab that says “Membership” and you will see this:

invoices1

Click on the link at the bottom, in aqua coloured print that says "Click here to view the list of invoices".  Then you will see this:

invoices2

Now you can see all of the invoices.  If you require a tax invoice to allow for an organisation or your employer to pay your membership for you, then look for "Pending" as shown on the fourth line in the example above.

If you have already paid for your memberships, then it will say "completed"

In either case, just click on the date to download the tax invoice.

Once you have your tax invoice, this, in conjunction with your bank statement will be all that you need to substantiate your expense if the ATO audits you.
