ASLIA National Conference 2007

ASLIA National, ASLIA (NSW) & Macquarie University proudly present this year's ASLIA National Conference "Transitions". The Conference will be held at Macquarie University Sydney from 7-9 September 2007. This year's Keynote Speaker is Dr Rachel McKee from NZ. The J.W.Flynn address will be presented by Karen Bontempo.

The conference will be held at MGSM Executive Hotel and Conference Centre at Macquarie University.

Program

A shorter, yet still excellent, conference program has been planned and presenter's have been approached directly. This is because SA ASLIA who were hosting the conference this year, have now folded. With ASLIA National Executive and ASLIA (NSW) now convening the conference within a limited timeframe, it is hoped members will understand the need for expediating the conference organising process.

The conference will be held from Saturday Morning to Sunday afternoon - 8-9th Sept. A conference program will be issued shortly.

An Interpreter Trainer's Workshop will be held in conjunction with the conference on Friday 7th September.

Accommodation

Delegates will be asked to arrange their own accommodation for the conference. You can stay at the MGSM or Macquaries Uni also has a Travelodge on site. There are also a number of motels nearby the Uni.
