Research study: The kaleidoscope of practice - A national survey of translators and interpreters.

ASLIA National strongly encourages your participation in a national survey of translators and interpreters in Australia. This survey will assist in developing a detailed profile of the profession in Australia and the information gathered will be used to inform future policy directions, service provision as well as research and training.

The research study is being conducted by Chief Investigators: Helen Slayter and Dr Jemina Napier and Research Assistants: Tarcia de Wit and Willya Waldburger under the auspices of a Macquarie University External Collaborative Grant and in association with: The Australian Institute for Translators and Interpreters (AUSIT), The Australian Sign Language Interpreters’ Association (ASLIA National) and The Australian Federation of Deaf Societies (AFDS).
