Getting There

Transport and Travel in Brisbane

We recommend using public transport for getting to and from the conference each day, and to and from the airport. Translink and Airtrain services start early and finish late for many routes.

Parking is available in the inner city, but it can get expensive – unless you plan ahead. We have included some tips for getting around below

Public transport

The nearest train station to the Novotel is Central Station, which is accessible from all trainstations from South East Queensland. For those a little closer, multiple Translink buses stop just outside the venue.

Airport transfers

Airtrain is the fast and economical way to travel between Brisbane Airport and Brisbane City. Around 20 minutes on the train and you’ll travel directly to the heart of Brisbane City.

Parking

If you find that driving is a better option for you to travel to the conference, this is what we recommend.

  1. Carpool! Chat with others coming to the conference from you area or staying in a location near to you, and work out how you can travel together.
  2. Drive to the nearest train station and enjoy the Brisbane sights on your train journey.

At the Novotel

Car parking will incur a daily fee of $35 per car per night Monday to Thursday night and $25 per car per night Friday to Sunday night. The discounted rate is only available to Novotel Brisbane hotel guests when they validate the ticket at Reception and enables multiple entries as well.

Secure Parking

Private car parking can be booked ahead of time for the following places:
