Interpreter Trainer's Workshop 2007 PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 08 June 2007

Regardless of the various challenges presented to us in coordinating the

ITW and ANC in Sydney at relatively short notice this year, we are

delighted to host another ITW and hope you will join us - we feel these

events are a wonderful opportunity to network with like-minded

colleagues and to exchange successful training ideas and resources. We

work in a very small corner of a relatively small industry, yet we

rarely come together and share information and resources.

If you know of an interpreter trainer that might be interested in

attending and/or presenting at the event, please feel free to forward

this email to trainer colleagues in the field. We may have inadvertently

missed some people, so please do forward on to relevant people in your

state.

It is important that participants are practising as interpreter

trainers or have a background in interpreter training. People involved

in providing PD/courses/training to accredited practitioners are also

welcome. The Workshop is not open to people not directly involved

in training interpreters in one form or another, due to its lack of

relevance to others. We are limited to 30 participants only, due to

venue size, so please do register promptly - all details are on the

attached.
