Professionals Australia Forum invitation

May 8, 2023

We’ve received the following invitation from Professionals Australia to all interpreters and Deaf Interpreters:

Dear Interpreter,

Working as an interpreter usually means a patchwork of contracts, pay rates, entitlements, policies and procedures to navigate.

Join us for an online open meeting for any and all Auslan and Deaf interpreters to talk about what is and isn’t working for you in your existing arrangements and contracts, and how we can work together to improve conditions for all of us.

WHEN: Tuesday, 23 May, 6:00pm AEST

WHERE: Online, via Zoom

Register Here
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

This meeting will be Auslan interpreted.

All members and non-members working as interpreters are welcome to join.

Translators and Interpreters Australia is the union for professional interpreters. We are the union for you.

We stand for fair, safe, and inclusive workplaces. We support and empower our members to thrive in all stages of their careers and believe that communities, business, industry, and the economy thrive best when professional employees are recognised, respected, and rewarded for their contribution.
