Mon 01/10/2018 | Starts: 6:00 pm | Ends: 9:00 pm | State: National, VIC/TAS | Venue: JML at Expression Australia, 340 Albert St, East Melbourne, 3002

Demand Control Schema (DCS) is a framework that incorporates factors that interpreters need to consider to assist with ethical decision making and professional conduct within interpreting practice. This framework will be explained and applied to interpreting scenarios that Deaf Interpreters commonly work in, with the opportunity for interpreters to consider their own experiences and upcoming interpreting assignments within this model.

Julie Judd is a practising Auslan/English Conference Level (English to Auslan) interpreter, with over 30 years of experience in the field. Julie has delivered several workshops on this topic as well as providing diagnostic performance analysis of practitioners.
