Britt is a practicing Certified Provisional Interpreter since 2023, and began getting involved with ASLITA as a student. Notoriously known for her pursuit of knowledge, Britt strives to make a difference in every space she involves herself in, with the goal of improving the practice and conditions for current and future interpreters to further benefit the Deaf community. When she’s not interpreting, you’ll find her in her art studio, in the library, or at any of the Deaf events happening in Boorloo (Perth).

I’m a Certified Interpreter with 15+ years of experience working with Deaf community. At home, I’m the CEO of chaos, managing two mini-humans, a greyhound who’s 90% couch and 10% dog, and a husband who’s learned to just roll with it. I’m all about making memories with friends and tasting every red wine that crosses my path. Life’s colourful, chaotic, and absolutely perfect—just the way I like it!

Dennis Ong

Dennis has been a committee members since 2017. As well as being a NAATI CPI Auslan-English interpreter, Dennis is also a teacher and has experience interpreting in educational and community settings. Fun fact about Dennis – he can wiggle his ears!

Dani Pritchard

Dani has been interpreting since 2009 and currently works full time in education, with some freelancing in various settings on the side. She recently graduated from the Macquarie University Graduate Diploma of Auslan-English Interpreting. Dani recommends everyone join ASLITA and if interested to join the committee to help support the organisation that supports interpreters. Fun fact about Dani – she was a champion high jumper growing up and could even do the splits.

Anneleis van der Kroon

Anneleis is a newly qualified interpreter and now a general committee member with ASLITA! She first started with ASLITA WA in 2024 as a student representative. She has been studying Auslan since 2021 and recently completed her Diploma of Interpreting. She also holds a Bachelor of Sustainability, majoring in Sustainable Communities, and is passionate about strengthening and empowering communities for the future.
By day, Anneleis works as an information officer at a local library—perfect for her love of reading! She is excited about her new role on the ASLITA committee and the opportunities it brings, including deeper involvement in the Deaf community and supporting emerging interpreters.
In her free time, she enjoys watching Australian basketball and playing socially with friends. Anneleis is eager to make a positive impact and looks forward to the journey ahead!
