Deafblind Victoria arranging Deafblind World Workshop

DeafBlind World Workshop – 16th November 2019
DeafBlind Victoria is proudly hosting a second DeafBlind World workshop. The previous workshop for Auslan participants was in June this year which was successful and well attended.
This will give you an opportunity for learning, understanding and knowledge about deafblindness.
This workshop is open to anyone, from little Auslan to fluent Auslan skills, with little or no knowledge about deafblindness – whoever wants to develop your knowledge. The participants can be hearing, Deaf, hard of hearing and include professionals, volunteers, students and friends / family members.
The workshop topics include:

- Experiencing deafblind activities
- What is deafblindness and methods of communication
- Guiding techniques
Time: 10 am – 12.30 pm
Venue: Ross House, Floor 4, 247 Flinders Lane, Melbourne
Cost: $15 per participant
