Inaugural Auslan Teachers Conference

The Auslan Teachers Organising Committee already have some ideas in place:

• The roll out of the new Auslan training package
• Resources and outcomes of the Australian Research Council (ARC) grant with Monash University and Melbourne Polytechnic looking at how signed languages are learned
• The development of Auslan Space as a repository for ARC and other resources for Auslan teachers across Australia
• Signbank projects to date – including terminology relating to the NDIS and Family Violence (expected to be completed mid-2019)
