ASLI releases Guidelines Communication Professionals working in Healthcare Settings

Association of Sign Language Interpreters (ASLI) have produced 2 documents – (1) guidelines for communication professionals working in healthcare settings during COVID-19 and (2) guidelines for organisations booking communication professionals in those settings during COVID-19.

These documents were produced in collaboration with ASLI’s Deaf Interpreter Network (DIN), the Royal Association of Deaf people (RAD), SignHealth Charity and the British Society for Mental Health and Deafness (BSMHD) and with contributions from the World Association of Sign Language Interpreters (WASLI) and the National Register of Communication Professionals Working with Deaf and Deafblind People (NRCPD).
