Registration Fees

Registration fees are shown in Australian Dollars.  Online registration will remain open until Sunday, 12th September 2021.

Registration Terms and Definitions

Online Registration = Online registration will close on Sunday, 12th September 2021. All invoices are payable nett 21 days from date of invoice. For registrations made within 21 days from the first day of the Conference (Friday, 10th September 2021), invoices must be settled by Thursday, 9th September 2021. Login details to the virtual portal will only be provided to attendees who have paid their account in full.

 Full Conference = registration packages include all activities and sessions on Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday.

Single Day Delegate = registration is only for the day of the ticket and does not include any additional conference activities. Additional tickets can be purchased via the online registration system.

Additional Conference Activities = registration is for the Official Welcome on Friday night and includes the ASLIA AGM, the JW Flynn Oration and the Networking event which will be held on Friday, 10th September 2021. Additional tickets can be purchased via the online registration system.

 Member = an individual who is a current financial member of ASLIA

Payment Options

Registrations can be paid by credit card at the time of registering online. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. All credit card payments will incur the following fees:

  • Visa: 0.90%
  • Mastercard: 0.87%
  • Amex: 1.73% + $0.20 Transaction fee

Credit card surcharges attract and are inclusive of GST. The breakdown of GST on the credit card surcharge will be displayed on your Tax Receipt which is sent to the email address supplied with your registration.

If you wish to pay by invoice, or direct debit, an invoice will be provided to you within two (2) working days from time of registration. All invoices are to be paid within 21 days of issuing. For registrations made within 21 days from the first day of the Conference (Friday, 10th September 2021), invoices must be settled by Thursday, 9th September 2021.

Login details to the virtual portal will only be provided to attendees who have paid their account in full.

Terms and Conditions of Registration

By registering online, you are agreeing to and confirming your Conference Registration for the ASLIA National Conference 2021 which will be held virtually via the OnAIR portal from 10 – 12 September 2021. Once submitted, cancellation of this registration will incur cancellation fees.

The conference languages are English and Auslan. Interpreters will be provided in these two languages for all conference sessions.

Registration Cancellations:
All cancellations must be advised to GEMS Event Management Australia in writing via email before the cancellation can be processed. Email registration@gemsevents.com.au. Cancellations will not be deemed to be received until you have written confirmation from GEMS Event Management Australia. If you have not received acknowledgement within five (5) business days, please contact GEMS Event Management Australia on +61 2 9744 5252. If the cancellation is not received in writing, the registration fees will not be cancelled, and full registration will still be payable.

Registration Cancellations received in writing by the Conference Organisers by Monday, 16th August 2021 will be accepted, and all fees refunded less an AUD$66 administration fee. Cancellations received after this date cannot be accepted and will not be refunded, however, transfer of your registration to another person is acceptable. The full name, address and contact details of the new delegate must be advised in writing to the Conference Organisers at least 5 days prior to the Conference.

Online registration received by GEMS Event Management Australia are considered to be confirmed by the delegate. No tentative bookings will be accepted. No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the Conference and any unpaid registration fees will still be payable.

In the case of a medical emergency which has caused a registered delegate to not attend the Conference, the Conference Organiser must be provided with a medical certificate or appropriate documentation before any refund will be considered. Where the Conference Organisers are advised of the situation after the Conference, and a refund is deemed to be appropriate, the delegate must still pay the administration fee.
