ASLIAQ has a social group for early career interpreters and soon-to-be NAATI certified provisional interpreters, including CPI and CPDI. P-Platers is about peer social support, shared learning and professional networking opportunities.

To acknowledge the importance of mental health, ASLITA will be providing two PDs throughout the Mental Health Awareness week (4th – 11th October) that are specifically tailored towards the aspects of interpreters and translators’ perspectives, experiences and responsibilities that can differ. Both of these workshops will establish a safe and confidential space for participants so that our presenters can pass on their knowledge to help interpreters look after themselves.
