ASLITAQ 2025 P-Platers September

Look who’s back, back again, for another year of ethical dilemmas, interpreting challenges and social chats, and this year, there’s the fantastic Emily, Pauline and Sab joining the team. This month the focus will be on those things that you need to keep in mind as you progress through your interpreting career – working with a co-terp and networking.
P-Platers is a social group for early career interpreters and soon-to-be NAATI certified provisional interpreters. This is a group for ASLITA members (including associate members) from any ASLITA state Association who:
- have completed their Diploma of Interpreting but are not yet certified, or
- are Certified Provisional Interpreters – CPI and CPDI
P-Platers is about peer social support, shared learning and professional networking opportunities such as:
- Share tips and tricks
- Discuss ethical quandaries
- Learn and benefit from other people’s experiences
- Ask those questions in a safe space
- Meet new people and build your professional networks
- Practice your skills
- Earn NAATI points
Cost: FREE
